iShower
- A smart shower control that knows your preference
January, 2014
Have you ever have trouble adjusting the shower control? iShower is a smart shower control that not only solves the problem but also remember your preference.
This is an individual course project of The Interaction Design Studio at Carnegie Mellon University.
I conducted a rapid needfinding investigation and synthesize the finding into the design insight. In the rough draft, I sketched out the most common problem people have with their shower control. I also ideate the preferred states under the specific shower scenario.
Rough Draft

Below is the scenario of using iShower. The final redesign of iShower addressed the concerns raised after creating the rough draft. This design greatly improves the interaction of shower control and is able to create pleasant shower experience for the users.
